Bishop Dr. David Resto, Jr.
Apostle David Resto, Jr. is a native of Jersey City, New Jersey, born on November 2, 1972 into a long line of preachers and teachers of the Gospel. He is the eldest son of five siblings to Apostle David Resto, Sr, and Evangelist Audrey Resto, of Victory Cathedral Worship Center International in Kinston, North Carolina. Apostle Resto Jr holds a bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer and Information Science Technology from ECPI College of Technology, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Apostle Resto, Jr. also has obtained formal ministry training through the Victory Deliverance Church of Christ Bible Institute Columbus, Ohio. On March 20, 2007 Apostle Resto, Jr. received his Honorary Doctorate Degree in Theology from Saint Thomas Christian College and Seminary of Jacksonville, Fl. In June of 2012 Apostle Resto received his Master of Divinity Degree from Isaiah College and Seminary located in Orlando, Florida.
Apostle Resto Jr went on to continue his studies and received his Doctor of Theology Degree in May 2014 from Isaiah College and Seminary located in Orlando, Florida. Acknowledging his calling to the ministry in 1988, he helped organize the Youth Ministry in his local ministry and effectively taught Sunday school and Bible Study. Apostle Resto, Jr. became the Assistant Pastor to Apostle David Resto, Sr. and assisted in establishing churches in New Bern and Jacksonville, North Carolina. The Lord’s hand moved mightily, they started with five members which led to over two hundred and fifty members in a matter of one year. While serving faithfully he was appointed to the National Youth President in the Victory Deliverance Churches Organization.
In January of 1994, Apostle David Resto Jr went on to join the United States Air Force, where the Lord enlarged his territory to minister the Gospel overseas at LaJes Field Air Force Base, Portugal for a two-year period. His excitement and intensity in delivering the Word of the Lord unctioned him start a bible class which grew phenomenally from two to over sixty souls. Through this move of the Spirit of God, the Lord ushered him into his pastoral calling. Upon returning to the United States, Apostle Resto, Jr. established The Greater Victory Temple of Deliverance, of Greenville, SC, on May 24, 2000. On July 15, 2000 after careful examination Apostle Fred Sanders, of the Victory Deliverance Churches Worldwide, appointed Apostle David Resto, Jr. to the office of District Elder where he served faithfully by building the local ministry and assisting pastors within his Diocesans. After prayer and the leading of the Lord, Apostle Thomas Wesley Weeks Presiding Prelate of the New Destiny Fellowship International, Inc. of Wilmington, DE, consecrated Apostle David Resto, Jr. to the office of Bishop on January 13, 2003. After joining New Destiny Fellowship
International Apostle Resto, Jr. began to work closely with Apostle Weeks, Sr. and has been awarded the opportunity to minister to leaders and lay members throughout New Destiny Fellowship International.
On May 15, 2003, Apostle Resto, Jr. established the Kingdom Temple Church of Deliverance of Goldsboro, NC. The birthing process continued and Apostle Resto, Jr. was led to establish the Kingdom Temple Churches of Deliverance International Organization in September of 2005. The organization’s mission is to speak a relevant word into pastors and leaders around the country that propels them into their Destiny. On November 17th, 2006, the Lord moved on Apostle Resto, Jr. to birth the Kingdom Temple Church of Deliverance in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After careful examination and by recommendation of the Board of Apostles and Bishops, Apostle Resto, Jr. was affirmed to the office of Apostle on March 28, 2008 by Apostle Thomas Wesley Weeks, Sr., Presiding Prelate of New Destiny Fellowship International, Inc. of Wilmington, DE. Apostle Resto, Jr., established Kingdom Temple International Ministries located in Raleigh, NC on May 15, 2010. Apostle Resto, Jr. has recently established a new ministry Kingdom Temple International in Burgaw, NC on October 28, 2012. Apostle Resto, Jr. serves faithfully alongside of Chief Apostle David Resto, Sr., as the Vice Presiding Apostle of the Victory Cathedral Churches World Wide, Inc., Headquarters located in Kinston, NC and alongside of Chief Apostle Thomas W. Weeks Sr., New Destiny Fellowship International, Headquarters located in Wilmington, DE.
On August 18, 2013, Apostle Resto Jr was led of the Lord to change the name of the organization to Kingdom Life Fellowship of Churches International Inc. On November 18th, 2015, Apostle Resto Jr established Dominion Cathedral Ministries located in Ft. Washington, Maryland where he serves as Senior Pastor. Due to the expansion of the Kingdom Life International Fellowship of Churches, the name of the fellowship was changed to Kingdom Life International Churches Worldwide, Inc during the annual Kingdom Gathering in October 2019. In May 2020, Apostle Resto, Jr. established Kingdom Life International Worship Center based out of Gainesville, Virginia.
We are anticipating a greater enlargement as we continue to move forward with the vision given to us by our Chief Apostle. Apostle Resto, Jr. is a Spiritual Father to pastors and ministers around the country. Apostle Resto Jr currently oversees churches in NC, SC, VA, MD, NJ, and MA. He is sought after for his leadership and mentorship abilities. Apostle Resto, Jr. has a unique ability to impart and train leaders through the power of Kingdom covenant relationship. It is the motto of the Apostle Resto, Jr. to "Equip the Body of Christ for the Kingdom of God".
